What people are saying…

“My family has had the good fortune to be treated by Dr. Ganz for two dog generations. He rebuilt my in-law's Labrador after a car accident, and later my husky tore her ACL on vacation, conveniently right by his hospital. We live in L.A., but now happily make the drive to see him. He's given her two new knees and a tricky cancer removal, literally saving her life on the table once. I know how hard it is to decide who operates on your baby, so let me tell you a few of my favorite things about working with Dr. Ganz. You will feel informed, cared for, and a little smarter about medicine after the appointment. He is a stickler for details; we forgot to mention a suspicious mole prior to her cancer surgery. He went searching just in case, through 5 inch fur, found and removed it. Lastly, something you will appreciate later - the stitches and resulting scars are the best she's ever had. I'm so sorry you're having to plan surgery for your little guy, but you've had a stroke of luck today. You've found my entire family's favorite surgeon.”

“Three years ago our dog, Alphie, sustained an ACL injury (CCL) to his left hind leg. We got input from several veterinary surgeons about recommended treatments. Prior to deciding on treatment, Alphie also shattered his ankle in his right hind leg. We are so very thankful that we selected Dr. Ganz for Alpha’s surgeries. Dr. Ganz was very patient with us and explained different surgical options. He performed a TPLO surgery on the left hind leg and arthrodesis on the right hind leg. The surgeries were very successful and Alpha’s recovery was as Dr. Ganz had described. Alpha has been able to resume his happy, active lifestyle. Earlier this year, we noticed that Alphie had two small lumps, one on his lip and one on his toe, that a local vet recommended be removed surgically, anticipating one might be a melanoma. We decided to return to Dr. Ganz for this surgery. During his pre-operative exam, Dr. Ganz discovered a small lump, which turned out to be anal sac adenocarcinoma. Because it was found when it was very small, he could remove it and no further chemo or radiation was necessary, only followup checks with the oncologist. The other two lumps were benign. Due to Dr. Ganz’s expertise, diligence and dedication to his patients, this cancer was discovered and could be removed giving Alphie more time to enjoy a quality life! We highly recommend Dr. Ganz for any surgical procedures! He’s not only an expert and an excellent surgeon, he truly cares about his patients and their families with thorough explanations, offering options, and excellent follow up. We will certainly return to Dr. Ganz if any of our pets require surgery.”

“I have an 8 year old Dogo Argentino named Hank that I love more than anything. I took Hank to Dr. Ganz for both an ACL surgery and a mass removal over the last 6 months. I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience working with Dr. Ganz. Hank healed up nice and quick from both procedures. Dr. Ganz was very knowledgable, thorough and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him for your dog’s needs!”

“Dr Seth Ganz performed our dog Jackson’s second TPLO Surgery. while we were not unhappy with our first experience with another surgeon, we could not believe how superior our experience with Dr. Seth was. Jackson second time around had no bruising, the incision healed dramatically faster and he wanted to walk so soon it was shocking. We are so grateful to Dr. Seth.”

“We were in from out of town and knew something was wrong with our fur-baby Nala. Dr. Ganz saw her for 1 minute and knew what was wrong. The bilateral TPLO surgery was scheduled within a couple of days. Dr Ganz explained everything, and treated her and us like individuals, not just another surgery. He was incredibly communicative and available. Then and now, a year and a half later, he will still answer a message within the hour we send it. Nate recovered well and is enjoying an active life with us. We don’t live anywhere close but would consider traveling across the country if Nala ever needed another surgery. Dr. Ganz is THAT good and above industry standard.

“Dr Ganz is a wonderful surgeon. Removed an infected ear canal from our Shar Pei Jake and did a great job- it was an intricate and difficult surgery. He was caring his follow up was great. A highly recommended surgeon! We no longer live in the area but still feel it’s important to share positive outcomes. Miss you Dr. Ganz.”

“We have a 5 year old, active Springer Spaniel who was not himself. Enter Dr. Ganz - he confirmed a torn CCL on his right leg, and said his left didn’t look great either. He talked to us, walking us through the procedure and answering any questions (lots) that we had. We were very nervous, but he kept it real while also being confident in Rodger’s prognosis. Once in surgery, Dr. Ganz felt comfortable performing TPLO surgery on both back legs at the same time. We are 8 weeks post-op and we have our happy, crazy spaniel back! On our first phone call, Dr. Ganz said that he thinks each animals’ case is different, and there isn’t a perfect cookie-cutter way to treat each patient. I remembered that, and think that’s a sign of great surgeon - willing to look at each case and decide what is best for that specific animal and family. All in all, awesome experience with Dr. Ganz - and we didn’t even get to meet him in person because of COVID! Our dog has great things to say though!”

“I recently worked with Dr. Ganz during our adorable rescue dog’s TPLO surgery. Everything about the procedure was amazing. He was completely professional, while also compassionate, throughout the whole surgery. I constantly felt like he valued not only my fur baby, but also my feelings and time as well. Winnie has been a completely different dog since her surgery and we owe it all to Dr. Ganz. As someone who has always had animals, end even worked in the veterinary field in the past, I will continue to recommend Dr. Ganz to my friends and family”

“Dr. Ganz performed a limb-sparing surgery on my boy, Davey, when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He was great to work with from day one. The surgery and recovery period went smoothly and Dr. Ganz was always there to answer questions. Dr. Ganz is professional, compassionate and his love for his work and his patients’ well-being shows. He really goes above and beyond. Pick him as your dog’s surgeon, and you won’t be sorry!”
